Advantages: Cheap and plenty Disadvantages: Far from city center
...This is definitely the best buffet eat all you can Oriental restaurant outside the London city. A tube to Colingdale, north of London and about 300 metres of walk down the road will bring you to a huge complex housing a restaurant and a lot of shops selling Oriental goods. The name of the place is Orient City. Food is excellent. You have a selection of over 100 items...more than you can eat. You only need to pay around 10 pounds and you can combine your lunch and dinner together. It is worth the money your are paying.
In fact, it is much better than any of the Oriental eat all you can in London city. That was so lousy and tasteless....

Advantages: Get to see London from above Disadvantages: A long queue (for me)
...Despite having a fear of heights I had always wanted to go on the London Eye since it first opened but didn't have the chance till last December for my 14th birthday. Being last December I won't quite remember all of it.
My experience of the London Eye might have never happened because of thick fog, I mean I wouln't have wanted to go just to see nothing of London would I ! But luckily the fog cleared for a beutiful clear day.
The bad thing about popular attractions is the waiting in queues especially when it was freezing cold outside, but I had some hot coffee and a very good view of the 135metre London Eye so it was O.K. It was £4.00 for a child and £9.00 for an adult and was definetly worth the money.
The pods moved very slowly (10 inches per second) and almost seemed as if they weren't moving at all. The pods were glass all round...

Advantages: Great Route through City Centre.Very Colourful Disadvantages: Can be quite hot in London in summer with Global warming
...Can be quite hot in London in summer with Global warming which means I sweat quite abit when in a race like this fabulous one that happens each summer in London.I quite like spring and autumn runs where there is oftern a cooling breeze. But I do not like cross country races.
My wife first did this British 10K race down there in London and suggested I try as it was easier than a marathon and much less likely to get a foot injury. The runners at the front are always very fast, so I plod along at the back and have a chat with the other people and look at some of the odd costumes people wear. One guy had a hippopotomus suit on which I thought alittle over the top.
This run has the prime spot in the centre of the city,so is easy and convenient to get to and from.I wouldn't try bringing a car though as Leicester square and Piccadily Circus...
