The van we hired was not ready when we arrived - 35 mins later a van was driven from another site. No markings to say it was 1car1. No idea where they got it from. It was then washed and checked in the garage. We weren't given the opportunity to check it
When we returned the van they tried to charge us for chips in the windscreen. These were so tiny I could barely see them. The person checking the car went straight to them, as if he already knew they were there.I have won the fight for this - because how can you check a windscreen for damage when its covered in water.
The van also had no fuel, radio or CD player.Please avoid - we were lucky. Its just not worth the risk.
