The drains are very open to the elements and it gets very bleak and cold up there so you need to wrap up ... ...tea making things with you.
Day tickets are available from the bailiff who patrols the area and are about £6 for two rods.

Here is an excellent venue for the serious angler keen on a bit of sport hunting Pike and Zander. Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire provide some of the best waters for Pike in particular. The drainage system on the Fenns provide excellent waters for the angler. These drainage channels or Drains as they are known run literally for miles.
