Advantages: History, fascinating information, interesting Disadvantages: A lot of walking but that's not really a problem!
to get the tax back on the money we paid and for this we were given the chance to apply for an annual pass at no extra cost.
The tour is available from 9.30am until 4pm during July and August with slightly later opening and earlier closing times during the rest of the year.
The tour started with us walking through a room where there were pictures of the yacht, the Royal Family and lots of information about both.
We were then given handsets and instructions on how to use them to get commentary as we walked round the yacht. These were available in 20 different major world languages plus English, English for children, Basic English and English for the Visually Impaired! I stayed in the Stenungsbaden yacht club while on business in Stenungsund in the Autumn of 2008. Rooms are available for around 1000 SEK per night.
The hotel is located 45km from Gothenburg and gives excellent access to the North of Sweden and Norway ( from Gothenburg, you follow the road signs for Oslo). Stenungsbaden is located on the outskirts of Stenungsund, and is a 20 minute walk from the Bus and Train station in Stenungsund centre.

I stayed in one of the Racing class rooms, the room was spacious and had everything i required for my stay there, large double bed, TV, desk ...
Advantages: Something for everyone Disadvantages: Unless you are a big Blackpool fan!

Although its many years since I last counted, there used to be thirty odd pubs and bars within five minutes' walk. There are at least half a dozen clubs offering scope for dance and drink into the later hours.
There are hotels and guesthouses to cater for just about every pocket from the 4* Prince of Wales down. Virtually all are within a few minutes of the town centre. Restaurants offer cuisine from all corners of the globe with some particularly good Chinese restaurants.
Overall, whether you are spending time with children on the funfair and beach, shopping ...
