Today I want to talk about a lovely means of transport:
"The Streetcar also called Tram". The once liked public conveyance had been taking lots of deep hits in the last decades. Even a rethinking and relaunch lasts very long or often is cancelled.
So it is favourable that the Streetcar in Innsbruck has been surviving without greater problems since 1905. Even new lines are in progress and should be constructed in the next years.

The first electric Streetcar made its way through Innsbruck in 1905. For a while there were 5 lines which served all the important boroughs. Today 3 city lines and 1 cross-country Streetcar exist. In my review I just report about the present situation.

THE SNCHEIDER BREWERY was established in 1872 when Georg Schneider purchased the right to brew wheat beer by King Ludwig II. Up until then wheat beer could only be brewed by royalty in a Weisse Brauhaus (wheat beer brewpub). In 1872, wheat beer popularity was in decline, but Schneider believed in the product, and is today considered the savior of Bavarian wheat beer culture. The Schneider symbol is the oldest registered trademark for wheat beer (1894). He brewed in the Weisses Brauhaus in Munich and the Weisses Brauhaus in Kelheim. This second brewery has been used to brew wheat beer since 1607 and is therefore said to be the oldest continually operating weisse beer brewery in the world.
