Advantages: location, comfort, relaxed atmosphere Disadvantages: no hotel car park
We spent two nights here last August during our second holiday in Asturias ("we" being my husband and myself and our 3 children then aged 5,11 and 12) and had a fantastic time. The idea was to see a bit of Gijon before heading into the hills for a week's self-catering in a former shepherd's home now converted and with all mod-cons. In fact it was the owner of the cottage-rental company we used who suggested this hotel.
As it turned out we wished we had spent longer in Gijon as it is a super city with plenty to see and do. The hotel Asturias makes a great base as it is an easy stroll to the beaches, marina, headland, old fishing quarter, aquarium, museums and shops. Set in the Plaza Mayor (Main Square) we had wondered about noise at night from neighbouring bars but I can honestly say it was not a problem - and our rooms had balconies ...

Advantages: Greatest album of all time Disadvantages: None whatsoever
This Ac/Dc album is by far one of the greatest .The cover is said to be black as a sign of mourning for bon scott (the first frontman). For the first album recorded without scott it is truley amazing and memorable.
It includes some of AC/DC's biggest hits such as 'hells bells' ,'you shook me all night long' and of course 'back in black' .
This ablum is a definate must have for all rockers out there because of its purely original sound.
Angus Youngs guitar licks will truely blow your mind along with the sound of Brian Johnsons meanacing tone ,the album is truely atmospheric!
Rock does not get any better than this !
One of the greastest bands of all time. ...
Advantages: Provides constant and safe voltage Disadvantages: Only works with Fuji
Possession
*************
Possession is nine tenths of the law, claims the saying.
It is never really true, but the saying persists.
In this case, possession of a Fujifilm AC 5VH adapter, was nine tenths of the reason for this review. The other tenth, was the fact that I was flicking through Ciao's Member Centre. I had clicked on the part that highlights products which have not yet been reviewed and which could provide a lucrative reward - doubled during June.
First product listed was this one, and so a review was essential.
Challenge
***********
The challenge, clearly, is what to say about such a must-have, highly trendy object of desire, as an AC adapter for a Fuji camera.!!??
Unkind people who know me professionally or as a Ciao reviewer, will no doubt snigger and reckon that it is no major challenge for me to speak ...
