Standard rooms at the Malaga Palacio can be booked from £84 per night (Rooms.net) through to £200 plus and if you get a good deal I'd recommend this hotel for a great location. On the downside, the rude staff and business atmosphere are a little trying, but a room with a view more than makes up for this.
It's worth bearing in mind that access may be an issue as the lifts are narrow and the entrance and reception desk are up stairs with no alternative route. You won't get a great deal of swimming done in the paddling size pool, but for a good night's sleep this is comfy, quiet and central. Like Malaga itself, this hotel is no disappointment.

As a short stay at the beginning of our Southern Spain tour, we decided to splash out a bit.
This turned out to be a wise decision. After queueing and waiting an hour to collect a pre-booked hire car, trying to navigate the busy city centre of Granada on a Saturday night for a further hour, I could have wept with relief at the warm, helpful reception we received.
Our hire car was put in the hotel car park, we were swiftly checked in and we and our luggage were taken up in a dizzying lift, along a wide, glass-sided corridor to our room by a helpful bellboy who briefly explained (in English) the history of the hotel.
The ACPalacio Santa Paula is, like other AC hotels, very modern. However, this one is cleverly built adjoining the courtyard of a 16th Century convent and the two styles are beautifully married together ...

Yet another stop on my tour of Florida's theme parks with three of my friends was Universal Studios. Universal is linked to Islands of Adventure and we did both parks in one day due to limited time, although I'll review them separately.
LOCATION:
Universal Studios is in Orlando, Florida. As with most Orlando attractions it is fairly well signposted. You just need to get onto the I4, the main road through Orlando, and it is signposted off this. There is a ridiculous amount of parking available. Make sure you remember which character and which number you are parked in otherwise you'll be searching for that rental car for hours! Each section is named after a Universal character such as Spiderman, the Cat in the Hat and ET.
