A'Famosa Resort Hotel, Melaka

Advantages: variety of food,historical place,cheap
Disadvantages: hot weather,cramped old road

...Melaka is a very historical state to visit.you can visit a lot of places such as the portuguese settlement,A Famosa which is the fortess gate ,the palace ,baba nyonya house(baba nyonya-chinese speaks fluent malay dialect).Melaka people were very nice.people from different races such as malay,indian and chinese (3 main races in malaysia) living in peace and harmony.Melaka well known dinner is ikan bakar which is grilled fish with few type of gravy and few types of seafood eat with nasi lemak(coconut rice and hot spicy sauce).i had ikan bakar for dinner at a place call Muara Sungai Duyong and the food was so delicious and the service was excellent.The price is around 10pound for 4people.i bought few antiques at Jonker Street which is next to a red building and the famous clock tower at Stadhuys Building.we enjoyed the food and the place... ...It was a very good place to stay - it was a cheap hotel with a convenient location. The prices where very good and the staff friendly. When traveling in Malacca its important to make sure you are not too in the centre of town because traffic is very bad there, so this hotel on the edge of town offers the best solution. Its a friendly place with parking right outside and this nice chicken restaurant right outside on the ground floor. The coffee shops are near by. The rooms as good and many types if you need a large room for a family or your relatives are staying with you. It was nice to have an adjoining room for my kidss. It recommend it again to anyone.... Advantages: Close to Kuala Lumpur' Very accessible. Cheap
Disadvantages: Some of the beaches are dirty. Gets crowded.

...the Melaka Straits. There are now a lot of de luxe hotels,budget places and one or two cheap boarding houses in PD and there are also condos offering accommodation for visitors. Seri Malaysia is part of a franchised chain of budget hotels and offers good value for money. During the week there is usually no problem obtaining rooms but during weekends and public holidays Port Dickson can get very crowded and late bookings are not advisable.
