I book hotel using spanish hotel's web page called Spain bookings, http://hotels.spain-bookings.com and found this lovely hotel. I never belive that we could have money to this hotel as it look so posh but I got it from excellent price for our 3 day brake. 3 nights where only 75 pound!!! Normal price per night is 65 £ and up. It was off season time, march 2006.

Advantages: Situated in the heart of Burgos, superbly renovated, great value for money Disadvantages: None that I could find!

We arrived in Burgos on the train from Santander, just as night was falling. I had been wondering how to find the hotel - the tourist information was surely going to have closed for the evening and all I had was a print-out of the map from the website? but as the train pulled into Burgos station, you could clearly see the words 'ABBA BURGOS' picked out in blue lettering atop the white building on the high ground in the centre of town. It's about a 15-minute walk from the station up into the old town, but you'll have no problem finding this hotel, that's for sure. It is correspondingly simple to find if you are travelling by car too, as ...
