signed. The original watercolours are used only for one edition and no other reproduction is made. The high quality of printing and the material used sets these prints apart. They are difficult to distinguish from the originals as they retain so much of the feel and delicacy of watercolour. The artists themselves are very involved in the printing process. They work with a talented craftsman who has developed a way of printing on real watercolour paper. This paper is produced especially for them by an English mill. It is made from 100% cotton and is completely acid free. The pricture is supplied mounted and framed. Frame dimensions 340x300mm. Image size : 175x140mm

The location of this hotel really is great for those who want to be in the heart of the city, and ideal for exploring all that Bath has to offer. Situated in the oldest part of the city, most of the famous attractions are on itsdoorstep, along with some of the best shopping outside of London. Guided tours exploring the rest of Bath leave from outside the hotel every 10 minutes, Bath Spa train and coach station are close by. Built as part of the Grand Designin the 1740s the hotel has a beautifully traditional façade, whilst still having the conveniences you would expect from a modern hotel. All guest rooms have recently been refurbished, and are warm and comfortable with good facilitiesand a small seating area.
Advantages: Very beautiful and atmospheric, helpful staff Disadvantages: Museum not ideal for children
...BathAbbey is in the centre of Bath, about 10 minutes walk from the train station.
From the outside it is stunning and very impressive.
There is no entry fee, visitors are just asked to make a donation to contribute to upkeep - £2.50 per person is suggested.
A brief free guide leaflet is provided, which gives some detail about the history of the Abbey and explanation of some of the beautiful stained glass windows.
There are many volunteers and staff working in the Abbey who are happy to answer questions etc.
There is also a museum, which is interesting, but probably would not be suitable for children.
There is a shop within the Abbey selling the usual gifts and memorabilia etc.
Services are advertised if you wish to attend.
You could probably spend an hour or two here if you visited the museum, or if you just have 15...

Advantages: beautiful, friendly, pleasant Disadvantages: expensive
...I've long ago decided that Bath is my favorite city in the UK.
I first went on a visit to Bath University for an open day and interview. The scenery was as gentle as the people's accents, and the BathAbbey was beautiful. Obviously a tourist spot, the locals were also very friendly and helpful. I especially enjoyed The Crescent. The Roman Baths were informative, if a bit expensive.
The land was quite hilly but it was sunny while I was there, which probably added to my positive impression!
Since that first visit, I've been back a few times, and look forward to more visits in the future!
A friend of mine who lives just outside Bristol has a slightly more negative view, saying it's full of snobs and poncey people, and the place is very arrogant....

Advantages: Lots to see and do! Disadvantages: Plenty of walking (if unable) too much to see in a weekend!
...and there is a mouthwatering selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables, cheeses, fish, meat and much more.
The famous attractions of Bath include; the Roman Baths, the Pump Room, BathAbbey, No1 Royal Crescent, the Assembly Rooms and the Museum of Costume. The Jane Austen Centre is also worth a visit.
Bath has a high number of independent shops. This gives the city its own unique character and makes it one of the most popular shopping destinations outside of London. The city centre is well known for designer clothing and antiques.
Bath is mad about food so you can find every pot, pan and gadget you could ever want within the city's stores, not to mention fine cheese shops and mouthwatering delicatessens.
There are regular walking tours of Bath including Ghost Walks and even a Comedy Walk. The city centre is best explored by foot. The Tourist...

We arrived and entered the estate along a tree lined avenue which led to the mansion house. The... more
