The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral.

Advantages: Clean and fresh
Disadvantages: Like a rabbit Warren

access to the lifts and hotel rooms whilst behind reception and to the right is the staircase down into the leisure facilities. Hope you brought your map with you? Down, Down below; = The leisure parts of the Hotel and below reception, hope you?re not claustrophobic. First room is the coffee lounge, next to leisure reception, and then the first room which is for classes, dancing, etc. Next room has some small low impact work out equipment, balls, vibrating tables etc. Next room is the main workout room containing lots of bikes, cross trainers, treadmills, weights, sit-up stuff etc. Further down the corridor you turn a bend and find another quieter exercise room with just a few bikes treadmills etc, then another turn and another small exercise room, then through a door a 4 squash courts. Back to the main workout room ...

Coome Abbey Hotel,

Advantages: Beautiful rooms
Disadvantages: None

I had the wonderful plesure of staying at the Coombe Abbey hotel during a business trip 3 years ago, I was tasked with manning a stand for my employer at a conference at the University of Warwick just outside Coventry and had to stay over night for a few days. I discovered that my manager had booked this hotel the week before the trip and was a little surprised that he hadnt booked anything closer or more convenient, at the time I was very annoyed as it dawned on me I would have to rely on taxis to get me around during the 3 days I was away for (I dont drive - yet) The second my taxi pulled up to the gates outside the estate and made its way down the long drive to the hotel I instantly cheered up and realised why my boss had made the booking, this place was stunning and not unlike a small stately home. I later learned from the staff ...

Review of Coombe Abbey Hotel, Coventry

Coombe Abbey.. so much more than a hotel

Advantages: Great rooms, great food
Disadvantages: None

There is so much more to Coombe Abbey than simply just being a wondeful hotel. I have visited 'The Coombe' on a couple of occasions now, 2 weddings, 1 Christmas party and on many Sunday afternoon, just simply strolling through the picteresque grounds. A long drive way takes you up to Coombe Abbey and on eather side as you drive up the very impressive driveway you have lovely greenery and trees. There is a car park on the right hand side (don't park here if you are resident at the hotel keep going a little further!) where people can park if they have just come to stroll round the grounds or pop into the Visitors Centre, Discovery Centre, History Room or the Heron Table Restaurant .I personally haven't visited any of these yet, but will update this review if I ever do! I noticed on my last visit because the sun was shinning that ...
