CHELSEA LODGEHOTEL 268 FULHAM ROAD LONDON SW10 9EW
10 min walk from Fulham Broadway tube, same to Earls Court
I stayed on Saturday 25 October 2008 because of its (reasonably) close proximity to Earls Court where I was attending an exhibition.
There was another similar rated hotel behind the underground station but it was reported to be very noisy and I thought a 10 minute walk from hotel to destination would be refreshing, which it was.
This hotel is on a busy main road on the corner of a junction, but inside the big old building you were not really aware of this. I think the hotel just had about 14 rooms in total, so not a busy place.
The hotel receptionist was very pleasant and helpful and efficient. The room was clean and bright, and although I booked a single, they were all occupied and I was given a double ...
I had the wonderful plesure of staying at the Coombe Abbeyhotel during a business trip 3 years ago, I was tasked with manning a stand for my employer at a conference at the University of Warwick just outside Coventry and had to stay over night for a few days.

The second my taxi pulled up to the gates outside the estate and made its way down the long drive to the hotel I instantly cheered up and realised why my boss had made the booking, this place was stunning and not unlike a small stately home. I later learned from the staff ...
Advantages: Great rooms, great food Disadvantages: None
There is so much more to Coombe Abbey than simply just being a wondeful hotel.
I have visited 'The Coombe' on a couple of occasions now, 2 weddings, 1 Christmas party and on many Sunday afternoon, just simply strolling through the picteresque grounds.
A long drive way takes you up to Coombe Abbey and on eather side as you drive up the very impressive driveway you have lovely greenery and trees.
There is a car park on the right hand side (don't park here if you are resident at the hotel keep going a little further!) where people can park if they have just come to stroll round the grounds or pop into the Visitors Centre, Discovery Centre, History Room or the Heron Table Restaurant .I personally haven't visited any of these yet, but will update this review if I ever do!
I noticed on my last visit because the sun was shinning that ...
