Hotel:
This Travel lodge is very handy for exploring the city of London as its only 4 minutes away by car or a short train trip. The hotel is very isolated as your surrounded by mostly office buildings. So very limited if you fancy a night time stroll.
The hotel has a bar cafe, we used this in the evenings and had plenty of choice. The light snack meals are a good deal, see tables for latest deals. We had the nachos and cheese for £3.99 and this was plenty enough for 2 people.

Rooms:
The bedrooms are very clean and provided plenty of room for a family. All rooms come with a TV/SAT , TEA/COFFEE MAKING, HAIRDRYER, PHONE, ROOM SERVICE.

The information supplied describes the Lodges as a collection of individual hotels with varying facilities and décor. Whilst this one, at thirteen rooms...

Advantages: Great views, lovely rooms and close to Blackpool Sands Disadvantages: Out of Dartmouth, but great for a quieter stay
...We arrived at Stoke Fleming nr dartmouth for a weekend away.
The Stoke Lodgehotel is a lovely hotel situated in a small village called Stoke Fleming which is on the way towards Blackpool sands.
The hotel is very relaxed with very pleasant rooms and a great view. There is a large chess set on the lawn, gardens to wander and also a games room downstairs, away from all the guests.
We ventured out on the saturday night for a meal at the Green Dragon pub which serves excellent crab sandwiches in the day but a beautifully coked meal in the evening. Afterwards we strolled back to Stoke Lodge where we went downstairs and played pool whilst enjoygin drinks from the bar.
Over all a very enjoyable weekend which was enhanced by the great accomodation in a lovely village....

Basically, if you're considering staying here, you probably have a small budget. If this is the case, I can reccommend it as it is great value for money. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are basic yet clean, and the breakfast is more
