Now on to Port El Kantaoui Taxi should cost no more than 3 dinar and agree a price with the driver before you get in the car and tell him exactly where you need to go or you may end up in his brother's carpet shop. We visited a few times for shopping and I have to be honest and say that it was not an experience I enjoyed, the marina and port are lovely but the hawkers and pushy shop owners make it a trial of wills, they can be overly pushy and rude in an attempt to get you to buy from them which made me more determined not to buy ( I love to shop and haggle ) but not in Tunisia and don't recommend any woman go shopping on her own here there are a few fixed price shops, stick to them cut out the stress. Mozzies Please take lots of insect repellent a good brand. The mozzies are everywhere and lots of people had a bad reaction to bites ...

Tunis Air - Surprisingly Impressive

Advantages: Lovely food, brilliant service, great seat pitch
Disadvantages: Inflight Entertainment did not work

Tunis Air (Arabic: الخطوط الجوية التونسية) for those that are not familiar with the name, is the flag carrier airline of Tunisia and is rated as a 3 star airline by Skytrax. Advantages: Beautiful Beaches
Disadvantages: Mainly For Couples, Hassle From Local Shopkeekers

Port El Kantaoui is a purpose built Holiday Resort on the Northern Coast of Tunisia in North Africa. It is situated just a few kilometres North of Sousse, Tunisia's second largest City after the Capital Tunis. It was built in 1979 with a modern 300 Yacht capacity Marina as its focal point. In recent years this Marina has become a popular mooring location for the rich and famous undertaking their Mediterranean Cruises and the Marina here is said to rival those long established Marinas of Nice and Marbella on the Southern Coast of Europe.
