if you're thinking of staying in piraeus, then we would thoroughly recommend the acropole. we were made to feel very welcome and felt at home straight away. the staff offered us useful information and we were delighted with every aspect of our stay! it is just a 3-minute walk from the bus station which has a direct bus to the airport. also, it is a 2-minute walk from the subway which we used to get around athens (very cheap and easy to use). finally, it is 100-metres from the port itself, making it perfect if you, like us, want to visit the beautiful surrounding islands.
so if you want somewhere very friendly, clean and incredibly well-priced, then we can honestly recommend it. we cant wait to return.
