Adam's Mark Resort and Hotel, Dallas

Advantages: Very exciting, rich and entertaining city
Disadvantages: Can get expensive

...find whatever you are looking for. There are some excellent steak houses, but only 2 Indians? HOTELS Dallas has a generous supply of hotel rooms catering for any budget from cheap motels, to the Adolpus Hotel, which is a great example of the rich and refined. Most major chains have locations in or around downtown including Hyatt, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Adams Mark, Renaissance, Double Tree, Hilton, and of course Le Meridien (where I worked). Prices range from around $35 to as much as you want. The Presidential Suite of Le Meridien Dallas costs up to $1300 a night, and that certainly not the most expensive. NIGHTLIFE Deep Ellum is the centre of Dallas’ nightlife with a huge variety of clubs from Blues, to rock, and to the more normal dance clubs. Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, FL 34746 The Gaylord entertainment group own a number of these hotel / resorts... including the even more excruciatingly named Gaylord Texan near Dallas ('the magnificent Gaylord Texan pays tribute to everything Texas as only Texas can: on a grand scale'), the equally over the top Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, and the Gaylord National in Washington DC opening in 2008 which promises to be even more outrageous than all the others combined.... Advantages: Central location

...This is a nice, comfortable 4 star hotel. It is very centrally located in the resort of Cala Galdana so if you like to people watch then get a sea view room and watch the world go by. In fact only get a seaview room because the rooms at the rear of the hotel are overlooked by a steep rock strewn cliff which casts a shadow all day. The resort is set in a beautiful cove with a wide cresent-shaped beach. The water as a consequence is very warm and calm. The cove is flanked on each side by cliffs that can be climbed quite easily to get a great view of the resort below. If you carry on in either direction a 40 minute walk will get you to the next coves along this southern coast of the island.
