My husband and myself visited Adams Rib on 5th January, after having been to a show. The Reastaurant is situated on Shaftesbury Avenue W1. It is very well placed for the theatres, and the Trocedero is opposite. Further along the road you have China Town.
We arrived there at about 6pm and the restaurant was fairly full, but we still managed to get a table by the window, which is where everyone wants to sit. There is a good view out over Shaftesbury ... ...now have to take people for rides in. Its interesting to people watch while waiting to order and eat your food.
On arriving we were shown quickly to our table and menus handed to us. The waitress gave us a few minutes then asked what we would like to drink. (red wine and sparkling water). As we were ready, she also took our food order.
This is an American style Restaurant, and it is mostly bbq ribs and wings which people choose to eat, but you ...

Adam's Rib in London's Picadilli Circus is one of the worst restaurants I've ever eaten at. It's not often that I write negative opinions for ciao.com but I want to save whoever reads this from the risk of ever having such an unpleasant experience as I had! I didn't know that area of London very well, and my girlfriend and I were very hungry, one Friday evening. We went to the nearest restaurant we could find. It actually does look quite tempting ... ...by the staff. Their lack of customer service skills was apparent throughout the entire experience. Once seated, the tables were squashed together so tightly, it was difficult to get up to go to the loo. The carpet was dirty, and infact the whole place looked like it could do with refurbishment! Service was slow. We eventually ordered ribs - the house speciality. When the food arrived it wasn't good at all. There was plenty of it, but the bland flavour ...
