A place in New York where people know everyone if you are a part of the community. The weather is constantly changing and almost never consistent. But there's at least almost always something to do if you can drive during any given season, and if you do not mind a few misquitoes or black flies throughout the year. Hiking, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, biking and several other things are just some of the activities that people par take in. However, although there are several disadvantages there are many advantages to visiting. Such as if you want family time, there is like no problem finding time for that. Also, if you are interested in a little history, there are a few historic spots spread out through the Adirondacks, that were fairly important to the government. One such example is when Teddy Roosevelt became President and found out McKinley was dieing.
