city centre. All the main tourist sites, like the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain, are within easy reach and a wide range of restaurants lie in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. This great-value-for-money hotel in Rome offers affordable accommodation together with a relaxed atmosphere, and it is the ideal choice for budget travelers coming to Italy. The Adriatic Hotel thanks to its friendly and professional staff will make your stay in the Eternal City a truly memorable and enjoyable experience.
A charming 2 star hotel ideally suited for those wishing to visit the stunning Vatican City and St. Peters. It is also well linked with both metro and bus to other central attractions. It does not have its own breakfast room (thehotel is on a 'room only' basis), but the standard of the bedrooms is good for a hotel of this category, in a traditional style and regularly redecorated. Reception is on the first floor and the hotel also has the advantage of a roofgarden where guests can relax and enjoy the great views over the city.
Advantages: History, lots of things too see and so, food, amazing museums, Gelato Disadvantages: Too much to see, crowded around major sight, fear of being pickpocketed
...A short summary
This trip report will focus on the trip that my wife Nikki and I took to Rome in the period from July 2nd - 7th 2005. We targeted out places that we wanted to see during our trip. On our list was the usual stuff such as the Vatican, Pantheon, Piazza di Spagna, Colosseum, Forum, Capitol etc. With all of this on the list there was no rest for the wicked :-) Please visit my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com to see pictures from our trip. Prelude
A couple of years back we went to Milan and Venice and we had a great time there. I guess we decided that we had to return one day to check out some other Italian cities and especially Rome. After all Rome is one of the classical destinations along with places like Paris, New York City, London etc. Our chance came when we were...

Advantages: So many amazing sights to discover, a truly wonderful city. Disadvantages: Tired feet and too much traffic
...Rome is one of those places I’ve always wanted to see, and so I was ever so slightly jealous when my brother went last summer, followed swiftly by my parents when it was their Silver Wedding Anniversary in October. They all came back with tales of what a wonderful time they’d had and so I sat and listened and pretended not to be in the slightest bit jealous…. I’m not totally sure they were convinced.
Then in December, out of the blue, my boyfriend asked me if I could be free the first week in February, as he’d found cheap flights to Rome on the Internet and wanted to book them as my birthday present. As you can imagine, I didn’t need asking twice (I always knew there was a good reason for loving him!!) and before I knew it, Christmas had come and gone, and I was packing for a five night stay in the chilly early February climate...

Advantages: I am too much of part... Disadvantages: Partly I am of too much...
...Attilio, Giorgiantonio and Mario to give some sensible speech and in joy...
To return at home...
Bus for Rome then Airplane for England.
A last thing: the country is situated on the the North wall of the Valley of the Aterno that flows in the Pescara and then in the Adriatic sea.
It looks, therefore, to South and, in the summer, it was filled with flies and mosquitos.
Someone or something... has thought well about using the insecticide, bedewing, for a whole night for years, all the roads of the country.
Result: the flies and the mosquitos are more "incazzate" (angry) that in others place where they allow to live in peace and the swallows...they are ten years that don't come anymore...
Don't see again us.
For me if there weren't Attilio, Giorgiantonio and Mario......
