Introduction
I first tried these Aero Bubbles when I bought the sharing bag from Tesco that was on offer for just over Ł1.00, I love the way they have changed from a bar into cute little sphere shapes, they are great. They look almost like maltesers from the outside but when you pop it into your mouth you experience something like never before. These were launched in 2005 and I cannot believe why I hadn't tried these earlier, these are bite size and I love them...
Packaging
The larger 135g pack comes with around 50 bubbles inside and is made of plastic with a rip off strip an a larger sticker to place over the top to prolong freshness! Advantages: Fairly cheap, nice looking box, bubbly Disadvantages: Not a great chocolate taste, nasty ingredients, difficult to find in shops
I'd seen this advertised on TV quite a few times, and every time I did my big supermarket shop I would always have a look amongst the drinking chocolate/cocoa products but was never able to locate it. I would always ask several assistants at various supermarkets if they stocked it, and each time they would shake their heads and tell me that they didn't. Eventually, I gave up trying and continued to buy my Cadbury's Options. The only reason I wanted to try the Aero Drinking Chocolate is because (apart from good old Cadbury) Nestlé's Aero is the only other chocolate I like. I adore chocolate, including drinking chocolate, but it must be rich, sweet and full of chocolate taste, otherwise it doesn't really hit the spot.
