Aeroflot is without a doubt the most strangest and probably the most dangerous airline in the world. In fact, I would be hard pressed to call what they put us on an aeroplane .. more like a 60s bus that has been converted into a plane. The air stewards alone were very nasty and rude .... the whole experience was very scary! There was no air conditioning on the plane; this could be due to the fact that any lack of oxygen would allow people to pass out on the plane and therefore not have a clue as to what was going on. We were lucky to grab a seat that had a seat belt and stayed upright. If you're thinking of flying internal in Russia - don't do it - walking would be a better option!!!

Advantages: Very good value fares. The aircraft on the Lon-Moscow route are fine Disadvantages: I might worry a little about some of their older aircraft. Punctuality was very poor.

Advantages: releatively cheap if you buy through Travel Agents - don't buy directly Disadvantages: missed and stolen luggage items, always late to kick-off
