Agapinor Hotel - Paphos

Advantages: Clean, air -conditioned rooms
Disadvantages: Location and poor choice of evening meals

...and i stayed at the Agapinor for 11 nights in June 2006.

We booked through Go-Travel having only a small hoilday fund! We knew we wanted to go to Paphos but didn't mind were we stayed. For our budget we only had a choice of this hotel and a self catering hotel. We chose the Agapinor as the description said it was close to the shops and it was half board. the hotel and flights cost £450 each.

What i didn't realise was ...

Overall we had a great holiday, but we did spend a lot of money on taxi's and food. (I would recommend anyone planing staying here to book B&B or room only)  ... more

Disadvantages: Situated too far from the main area of Paphos with no late buses.

I booked it and spent the next few weeks dreading it after reading reviews on other websites. When we entered reception at 2am I was filled with trepidation..........but got a lovely surprise. Reception is bright and friendly and we were checked in by the security man in less than 10mins. We then went to our room and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The beds are probably hard for some people but they were fine for us. The bathroom was spotless ...
...taken my own after reading the reviews. After a good night's sleep we woke up and opened the balconey door and heard the level of traffic. Yes, the road is busy during business hours but how many people spend the day in their hotel room? With the door closed the room was very quiet. The air conditioning was very effective and meant we did not roast . If the breakfast was repetitive that's up to the individual. There was a choice of cereals, friuts, ...
