I stayed here recently and was made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. I was very polite to the manager at all times but I was spoken to like a child, she was very patronising. I've never known anything like it, it was actually almost funny. We were made to feel as if we were staying in a private house, not a public B&B and that we had overstayed our welcome as soon as we arrived. The manager was even rude to me when I made the booking over the phone, I almost hung up on her, but had to make the booking as I was part of a large group also staying there.

It was also very grotty and unclean - there was a dirty towel in the corridoor and drinks bottles on the front steps, which were not cleared away during my 3 day stay! Even the morning paper in the lounge was 2 months old!

Apart from the location, the only good thing about this hotel is the guy who cooked and served the breakfasts, he was lovely and very helpful - poor man having to work there! Its like something out of a sit-com.
