For New Year I was jetting off to Alicante. Looking around at prices and being misled by many adverts I found a bargain flight with Air 2000. I took the route Gatwick to Alicante and the flight time is around 2 hours and 30 minutes. The flight left and arrived on time. Due to passing out and sleeping most of the way there I had a breakfast that was of typical poor airline food, it was hot but so is sludge if you cook it. On the way back we checked in and found my friend and I had been put in seats far away from each other so we had to sit by ourselves this was a great way to start the flight. The flight was around 2 hours and was again on time. As I walked through I grabbed a free copy of the Independent and sat at my seat and began to read.
Being awake on the flight this time I had a Pepsi from the bar that was going through, to my dismay this cost me 50p this is shocking for a flight that cost £162 I expected this from Go or Easyjet but not a chartered flight. To watch the TV you had to buy headphones, which wasn’t worth the money just to watch rubbish like Coronation Street or the news. 10 minutes later the dinner was served and it was sausage and mash, edible but the sticky cake wouldn’t fall out if you turned it upside down in its dish.
The airhostess serving the Tea got all the way to my seat then lights flicked on down the isle like a runway. Yes you guessed it the blonde airhostess had a pot of coffee and not tea which was really amusing to me. Another amusing entertaining thing the air hostesses did was flight shopping and needing to find a calculator to work out how much 2 pounds was in pesetas, when the exchange rate was 285 pesetas to the pound. In all this is a package holiday flight and I paid way over the odds for what I got and at other times of the year I am sure the price will reflect this.

Advantages: Nice staff, clean aeroplanes, good entertainment and food, on time flights (in my experience any way) Disadvantages: Just another money grabbing charter airline (I've probably been very lucky with them so far)
