I have recently made 4 journeys with Air 2000, so feel that I am in a good position to commenta bout them. The airline is widely used by travel operators like First Choice, so if you have a summer holiday to spain booked you may well be travelling with Air 2000.
As you would expect Air 2000 is far from luxury. Their airplanes are designed to cram as many people as possible into them, so comfort isn't very good. The staff are helpful and polite however, and the food served is reasonable. I was given a hot sandwich, yogurt, chocolate bar, fruit and a choice of tea or coffee.
On the flights back to the U.K. newspapers are handed out free of charge. You have the choice of the Mirror or the Independant! If you are desperate to get a paper make sure you get on the plane early as they ran out quite quick.
A warning: If you are flying from GatwickAirport, arrive early! Air 2000 has a strange arrangement where all their flights check in at the same desks, so long queues develop! I allmost missed my flight because I was made to queue for 1.5 hours!
To summarise: Air 2000 isn't luxury, but it is o.k!
