...Since we travelled with Air 2000, they have since become First Choice Flights. As Air 2000 they were quite surprisingly an award winning UK airline. Every year, the airline's 29 aircraft make on average 30,000 flights from fifteen airports in the UK and Ireland. Air 2000 started on 11 April 1987 and is the UK's 3rd largest charter airline.
The airline flies from Manchester, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Newcastle, Bristol, Glasgow, East Midlands, ... ...and South Africa. Air 2000/ First Choice are part of First Choice Holidays. This includes Sovereign, Hayes & Jarvis. Portland and Unijet . Therefore if you book with any of these agents, more than likely you will be flying with this airline. The airline flies to Dubai, Greece, Cyprus to name but a few. The planes include the Airbus 320 and the Boeing 757. **** OUR HOLIDAY BEGINS *****
In 2003, my family and I booked a two-week holiday to Cyprus ...

Advantages: Cheap, good in-flight movies, on time departure Disadvantages: No veggie meals, paying for a stupid adapter!
...I enjoyed the least!
Air 2000 are part of First Choice Holidays plc (which also includes Sovereign, Hayes & Jarvis and Unijet amongst others). So, if you book a First Choice holiday chances are that you may fly with Air 2000. Their web site, which is thoroughly informative I may add, proudly states that Air 2000 have won the award of 'Best UK Charter Airline 2001' by Travel Weekly Globe. Hmmm...I would like to disagree.
Firstly I cannot fault the ... ...actually choose to go with Air 2000 - as a charter flight it was the allocated carrier.
Anyway on to my grumbles!! Firstly, I was very annoyed at the fact that I had to buy an 'adapter' to be able to use MY OWN headphones in order to watch the in-flight movie. I could understand them charging for headphones (at £3 a pair) if you didn't have you own, but what I do object to is being charged £1 (its the principle!) to use my own pair! Instead of having ...

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Poor legroom, service and veggie food
...The overall behaviour of the air staff gave the impression that they didn't want to be there and were not very pleasant or helpful. There were 3 televisions for our entertainment, hanging from the roof of the plane, one of which had a picture with a beautiful green colouring to it. To use these fine facilities you then had to buy headphones so that you could see this quality entertainment!
I tried to sleep most of the journey, but it is near impossible ... ...driving back up to Leeds when we got back! I eagerly waited for breakfast, as I was a bit peckish by this point. And we got: One small bowl with a few cornflakes, a bit of milk and a muffin, of which no-one in my party could manage to eat. My mind boggles when I try to identify the type of muffin, and I can honestly say that I still have no idea!
My final impression of AIR2000 was that the staff did not like their jobs much or people! It seems that ...

Advantages: There wasn't any! Disadvantages: Everything! Bad food, seats, staff.. the lot!
...saying how much they disliked air food. I have had nothing bad to say about the food previously - even on budget airlines! This one though was awful. The main meals were hardly enough to keep you going, I suppose this was so you would spend a fortune on the over priced Pringles and popcorn! - The food was especially bad when you know you have paid £15 per person for that slop!
The staff, how were they? It depends on what you want from Airline staff, ... ...airline again, I think Easy Jet and Ryan Air should watch out, they may lose some customers to this new up and coming budget airline!
Thanks for the read.... nice to be back!
p.s - the old boy asked me to marry him whilst on holiday!! WOOHOO! ...

Advantages: been with Air2000 before Disadvantages: still hate flying
At last the holiday we had all been waiting for. The days had been counted and the day was finally here.
When we arrived at the airport we were met by a lady who worked for Air2000 and pointed us in the right direction of the correct check in desks. When you are going on holiday you would expect to be met by a nice smiling, happy person when checking in. Unfortuantley this was not the case with us. Our lady on check in was more interested in chatting ... ...up on the gossip. Obviously saftey wasn't much of an priority with her as she only just managed to ask us if we packed our own bags. She was too busy chatting while we were standing there waiting. I hate flying and am totally paranoid and that really annoyed me.
We went to our appropriate gate before boarding and waited paitentley. Ten minutes before take off they started calling seat rows for boarding of our flight. When we gave in our passports ...

Advantages: Cheap, Modern, Clean, Geat Service Disadvantages: Pay for headsets and drinks
...As a Travel & Tourism Student I have been on a residential holiday. We got chosen to go on a holiday to Lanzarote. We had flights booked with Air2000 for both to and from Lanzarote. The image of the company is a smart, modern, and comfortable. I had a good flight with them in very nice new planes. The crew were very friendly and helpful. In-flight movies were a good choice, although you had to buy your own headphones for a few pounds (£3). Drinks were optional and they were very good value for money. Depending where you are travelling to, meals were very good quality but it was a bit on the smaller size. It was OK for a snack on the 4 hour journey to Lanzarote. Travel with Air2000 is ideal for people who are on a limited budget that offers service that can be compared with full price airlines....

...AIR2000 Limited = An Incredible Rip-Off ?
Just had the misfortune of travelling cattle class for 5 hours on the AIR2000 flight from London/Luxor/London. The outward flight was not too bad, legroom seemed just about bearable for someone of 6’2”. Inbound though legroom seemed more restrictive and just to add insult to injury, the passenger in front was one of our ‘larger than life’ transatlantic cousins. Not only were my knees pummelled at the slightest movement, but after takeoff and once safe to do so, once the chair was put back what slight space there was disappeared completely.
In a vain attempt to save further injury I stupidly positioned the left knee to the outside of the seat only to have it continuously battered by the trolley dollies without a word of apology or a simple ‘Sorry’.
During...

...I have flown a domestic flight within Malaysia and a flight to Hong Kong from Singapore, both times I did not have a very pleasant flight. The aircraft were old, well I can say the oldest I have been in all my life traveling. The food was OK but the service was good. It feels like that you are handled by a budget airline, how ever I have been treated and been in better aircraft by Air2000. Meals and snacks are basic but its OK for airline food. I hear people say that Malaysia airlines are good, but that's probably for long haul flights. I will remain to look at Malaysia Airlines in a negative way. I recommend that you try them out and see what experience they give you....

Logitech MX air is an attempt to make a revolution. There were no changes in recent years for mouse devices and innovations were caring about sensors or there were slight modifications of buttons or
adding more buttons. A little revolution was long time more
