Checked our baggage into check-in desk at London gatwick south terminal. Qued to eneter departure lounge for over 30 minutes, only to be told the flight had been "stopped"! Fair enough..the airline put us into a hotel...very nice indeed. However we were woken at 130am to be told we were flying at 4am...back to airport departure lounge for another 2 hours, we thought...how very wrong!!!! We then spent the entire day up and down to information desk trying to get some idea of when our flight would actually take off. We were told the airline had no flight crew, we were told the airline had no aircraft, we were fed all kinds of BS stories as to why we were still on the ground in london when infact we should have been laying around our pool in fuerteventura. Eventually we were asked to board a plane...finally!!! Upon arrival we were greeted by a very tired looking cabin crew, and not greeted at all by a very reluctant Captain. After the head flight attendant explained that they only had 2hours of legal flight time left, they were 'willing' to fly us out to Madrid, where we would change to Fuerteventura......Ok ok it's a hassle but atleast we would get somewhere....3hours later we are still on the tarmac at LGW ... tempers began to fray and a few passengers made the decision to disembark. After24 hours delay who could blame them... With the cabin crew now well over their legal airtime the near full plane was forced to be offloaded back into the terminal...escorted by police and fire service i might add. We spent another 6hours on the floor of LGW departures until we were told by one of ground star's staff " good news guys, go to gate 11"... We went. We boarded.(a glued together -shabby excuse for an aircraft) We took off (without so much of a peep out of cabin crew or captain) We landed....hoorah!!!! The now half full plane had finally touched down in Fuerteventura!!!!! WRONG!!!
ground staff boarded the aircraft and saved the captain the trouble of explaining we were infact in GRAN CANARIA!!!
If you enjoy being treated like an animal, or cargo....FLY AIR EUROPA!!! The only consolation was the plush hotel.....In LGW!!!

Welcome to Ciao, Nice first review, although I think that you could include much more information about this company, you have written mainly about an order which is only part of a review which can be used as your personal opinion. You also need to write information about what this company have to offer, how their customer service is how easy is to book a flight etc... One to avoid like the warnings for these rubbish airlines.
My personal problem airline is LOT airlines. A baggage handler laughed when I mentioned the name and the return flight was a problem in that their wasn't one. Good review anyhow
