I would like to that air india is one of the world's most dangerous airlines. you may disagree with me on the topic but this is a fact what I say. There are a lot of reasons for this. First of all india is facing a lot of seperatist movement within the country and these peaple often try to hijack the plans of indians airlines. Only two months ago one of the plane of indian airline was hijacked from nepal from time to date, a lot of individual and orgnisations are tried to hijack the plan of indian airline. The press of india is witness of these events of last two or three months. Although this is a cheap airline but there are a lot of other disadvantages you would have to face with air india. For example, late departure and late arrival is common habit of air india and staff behaviour of this air line is also not good.
Is it right to blame the airline for the fact that the planes have been hijacked? No, clearly not. You can blame them for bad staff badly maintained aircraft, aging fleet... but the hijackings are the fault of terrorist groups NOT the airline, although what is true is that we hardly ever hear abvout these events, although they do occur on these airlines regularly, so perhaps they could do something about this, because events such as these can be prevented, although Air India cannot AFFORD these prevention methods, as they are currently up for sale.
