As I am travelling on business quite a bit throughout Europe, I really feel I should express my dissatisfaction with this airline. First of all the handling at Dublin airport is not professional at all. In case that there should be any problems with the ticket, staff doesn't seem to be flexible enough to sort it out, so I decided on numerous occasions to fly with another airline instead, even though the ticket was not appropriate for that routing either, but it did not seem to cause them any problems. Then obviously the state of the fleet is not too appealing. The aircrafts are generally old, except for the two or three (I am not sure of the exact number) of Airbus A321, which they seem to have purchased recently, and they seem in good condition. The rest of the fleet seems to lack in the upkeep, which might lead to worrying about the standard of maintenance which is applied, but there are no examples I can give, since it is very difficult for a passenger to judge this. Then you have the seating, which is very narrow and quite uncomfortable, compared to other airlines that fly the same routes. Generally the temperature inside the aircraft is kept extremly low, so that I had to ask every time I flew, to have it adjusted, which was generally done promptly at request. The worst part of the flight, however, is the food. In the morning you get an Irish breakfast, which is not to everyone's liking as it is, but is it also presented in a very cheap way. On evening flights you get a dry sandwich and a shortbread. All these points might be small, but in a market where it is important to supply customer service throughout a variety of services, the airline fails to keep up with international standards.
