I flew to LA with Air NZ. It was by far the best flight I have been on with good service. They are used to long haul flights as this is their specialism and they do it very well. The flight seemed relaxed, it was easy to sleep, there seemed to be more room and the 11 hours went very quickly.
It was cheap too - by far the best bargain to the West coast of the USA.
The NZ wine in flight was especially good even though I was flying between London Heathrow and Los Angeles. The food was provided on proper plates (even in economy class) and because it's a great secret there was loads of room on the flight to spread out.
