I recently flew to New Zealand with this airline and they were fantastic! I have a baby brother that was only 6 months old at the time. The airline were very helpful with prams, seating for us, and on flight service for him. They had a wide range of foods that were available for him, such as organic food, sugar free food, etc, and they were happy to warm any food or drinks up for him. Very friendly.
The flight itself was very comfortable. The screen was constantly updated with films, and in between there was information and mapping to illustrate the position of the plane. This was very interesting. The food onboard was gorgeous with a good selection. The meals were not what I expected, I underestimated the airline food! The drinks on board were all FREE and the hostesses were very friendly and always asking if you were ok. The seats were very comfortable and they had a good amount of leg room for a long haul flight. However, due to the baby we were restricted to certain seats with a skycot. This meant that we were stuck in front of the main screen. This left us with a sleepless night.
We also travelled on a domestic flight with them and they were also extremely good on this. They were also very friendly and respectable.
Despite this, they were very good, and I would recommend them to anyone wishing to travel to New Zealand. I was frightened of flying long haul after the 9/11 event, and they made it an enjoyable and frightless flight.
They were quite expensive to purchase flights through their site, although we used a travel agent and they found us a good deal with them.
