Read some not so great reviews before flying with air transat so I was a bit worried but there was no reason for it! Both flights were great, left on time, food was edible and staff was friendly!
I would highly recommend reserving a seat (even though it costs $20) unless you want to be stuck in the middle seat for 8 hours! I was upset when I found out there were no window seats left (even when checking in 4 hours early!) but was able to convince the boarding crew to let me know who had not showed up for the flight for a window seat and had a whole row to myself. Leg room was minimal.... if you are tall/fat it might not be very comfy! I'm short & skinny so I was fine :)
Food there was dinner (pasta, was good once I added the whole packet of salt & pepper) and a muffin in the morning which were okay. Food back was chicken & rice (okay, but fatty) & a pizza which great.
Staff was friendly & helpful. Movies they played were really good....there was 'He's just not that into you' and 'Marlee & Me', back was 'Yes Man' & '7 Pounds'.
Overall it was a great trip and I will fly Air Transat again if I get the opportunity! Paid $450 incl taxes/fees for flight to Germany. Every other airline was at least $300 more. Flights were smooth & landings were amazing. Was very pleased! :)
Don't forget to bring your own headphones, theirs ($2) sucked! lol
