...Apparently on these Boeings that Aloha airline is using, the emergency doors have to be physically lifted out in order to activate the floatation devices or something along these lines. The safety procedures was quite interesting too. I quote "in the event of an emergency, use seats as a floatation device ..." I have flown with Ryanair a few times and i must say i have not had a good experiance, The first time i flew with Ryanair was in January to Italy but we were delayed for 8 hours YES 8 HOURS, The reason for this was one of the light in the asle was not woking properly. They made us sit in the aircraft with the doors closed and it was hot as anything. We asked if we can have some water and we we told they are not allowed to open the bar on the ground ...

...be honest, i dont like Ryanair and would rather pay a little bit extra to avoid flying with them. However, i recently flew with them to Aarhus in Denmark. As far as i know, Ryanair are the only airline flying from London to Aarhus so i didnt have much option. The flight itself was cheap, about £50 return (including taxes and the fee for using my debit card). I checked the price a couple of weeks later and was amazed to find it had dropped to £25. ...
...should probably be grateful that Ryanair do not cut corners when it comes to safety. But overall, i couldnt complain. It got me to and from my destination for a reasonable price. I only ever use Ryanair if they are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than other airlines. If you are willing to just take hand luggage and forego the complimentary cups of tea / coffee that you get on other airlines, Ryanair isnt that bad an option. ... Read review
