Advantages: Impressive route network, punctual, friendly crew Disadvantages: If 'plane breaks down, there's no replacement
...before I flew with them. Air Vanuatu is the national carrier of Vanuatu, an archaepelago nation in the south west Pacific, between The Solomon Islands and Fiji. Tourism is still in its infancy there, although it is becoming a popular destination with Australians and New Zealanders looking for some south sea paradise, good diving, friendly locals and stunning scenery. In this review, as with all of the ones that I write, I am trying to help readers ... ...the most impressive things about Air Vanuatu: the scale of the network it can operate with only 2 'planes. From its base in Port Vila, the capital of Vanuatu, it operates twice weekly return services to Brisbane, Sydney, Auckland and Nadi (Fiji), codesharing with Qantas, using a Boeing 737-300 and a more frequent service to New Caledonia using a smaller ATR-42. However, this ambitious service plan has a flaw: should one of the 'planes break down ...

As usual, we arrived early at the check-in counter of the Aloha airline section of the Honolulu airport. Check-in ... ...Apparently on these Boeings that Aloha airline is using, the emergency doors have to be physically lifted out in order to activate the floatation devices or something along these lines. The safety procedures was quite interesting too. I quote "in the event of an emergency, use seats as a floatation device ..." So, I have to rip my seat off and wrap on arms around it to stay floated ... as long as the sharks don't get to me first!

...then look no further then Virgin blue. Beware of a cabin supervisor by the name of Natalie flight Sydney to Melbourne. Their staff are unhelpful, are emotionally retarded and can't see past their own hang ups. Their need to remind you that they think they have the power is laughable. They need to be reminded that they are service and should provide a friendly one at that. If we are to get petty then they should remember who is serving who. They are ...
Advantages: You get a free flight for no extra work or effort Disadvantages: none really except it would be nice to get more.
Qantas Frequent Flyer program An unoriginal name but at least you know what you are joining. I joined this program just before we left for our Australia and New Zealand trip as we were going to be flying with Qantas and doing several internal flights as well. I am a member of KLM/Air France Flying Blue as well as we use these airlines most of the time. The flight to Australia and back is obviously quite long o you do amass quite a few miles in one ... ...simply set out with the Qantas red and white colours and logo at the top, links under this and then other information for booing flights etc under this. Once I had filled in all my details it came to a section for payment… wait a minute I thought - I'm not paying to join and I backtracked, however it seems to be free to join in the UK so I'm not sure why others have to pay. I was just relieved I did not have to. I guessed they would send a card at ...

...two B737-800s which belong to Polynesian Airlines of Samoa (Pacific Island). It has been leased to Qantas to do domestic flights in NZ and cross tasman. Flight attendants are QANTAS and not Polynesian and the service you described sounds pretty much like the QF domestic NZ inflight service. Unfortunately your letter sadly discredits Polynesian Airlines which is a pretty good airline and has received good passenger comments on Airtrax especially on ...
