Pure torture
Review of Air Transat by Tortured

Advantages: none
Disadvantages: extremely uncomfortable

Pure living hell. Vancouver to Puerto Vallarta Dec 2007. I am only 5'3'' and the seating was extrememly uncomfortable. Not only was the pitch the worse I've ever experienced, but the width of the chair was an insane 16 inches. My knees were crammed up against the seat in front of me. The people in front were mean enough to recline the entire flight. People were yelling at each other for bumping each others seats. I thought the man a couple of ...
...him, it was a very uncomfortable situation. We ordered lactose free, didn't get the order, both meals were greasy cheesy meals and I couldn't eat them. 5 hours of pure hell. How does Transat get away with this service and comfort leve???????? Never, never, never again will I fly with Transat. ... Read review

Full service? I Think not!
Review of Air Canada - ACA by CanadianTraveller

Advantages: Very few
Disadvantages: Not full service

We choose to fly Air Canada (Aug 2007) from Toronto to LA as it was the national airline. Even though ticket prices were considerably higher than anticipated we choose Air Canada secure in the knowledge that the flight was an international flight and the service, seating etc was as high a standard as any national airline. We were horrified to discover that their ageing aircraft A319 was configured for sardines and way below international standards. ...
...the seams. Were we on Air Nigeria? The trolleys that moved between the aisles had about an inch or two to spare as they completely blocked the passage. Aisle seat passengers could easily loose a toe if not vigilant. Heaven forbid if there was a sudden emergency. The heavily laden trolleys required two attendants to push them along. If you chose to use the toilets at the back you would have to wait for a good 40 minutes. The single toilet in the ... Read review

Review of Air Canada Aero Plan by cyclone88

Advantages: Easy Registration, Multiple ways to Earn
Disadvantages: errors can occur

...this, I fly my countries air carrier Air Canada quite often. Now because of this, I decided to become a member of their Frequent Flyer Program called Aeroplan. And soon, I was reaping the benefits. Registration Registration was easy. I registered through their website at http://www.aeroplan.com . Here I clicked on registration and in a few minutes, I had a number and I could print out a temporary card. My friend told me that phone registry is also ...
...1) StarAlliance Because Air Canada is a member of Star Alliance, I can earn miles on other Star Alliance Airlines such as United, British Midlands, All Nippon Airways, SAS and many others. 2) Banking and Credit Cards I also can earn at the CIBC (Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerence) Here, they have an AeroMortgage on which your mortgage earns miles and the AEROGOLD Visa card also earns miles. 3) Future Shop At Future Shop (Canada's Largest Electronics ... Review of Canada 3000 by brea275

Advantages: cheap
Disadvantages: cramped, bad service, bad food

Canada 3000's only advantage is it's price, when flying within Canada I suggest West Jet, you typically have more leg room, the customer service is incredible from the in flight jokes to the helpful and friendly stewartesses to the pilot coming out to thank you for flying West Jet is a much more relaxing way to fly. I once flew from Toronto to Vancouver on Canada 3000 and was not impressed. The flight was very long, the attendants were grumpy, the ...
...flights. I would reccomend taking another airline if possible, West Jet is cheaper and much better, where others such as Air Canada are more expensive but also more enjoyable. Also the food on planes is never good however, the food on Canada 3000 was exceptionally bad. Hope this was helpful! ... Read review

Who needs large airports
Review of Thomson by 1963sporty

Advantages: quick, no hastle
Disadvantages: small lounge,

...your self for this then Thomson Fly can save you all the headaches that larger airports can cause. Firstly you npark your car right outside if you prebook a space and check in is usually only one and a half hours before take off and when you have left your cases ther is a smallish caffe/shop to wait in. Be prepared this is quite expensive so we always take some snacks and drinks from home to keep costs down and never buy anything on the plane. When ...
...there is only one plane boarding and that is only caused by the added security of recent times and there is no waiting for a slot on the runway once the doors are shut you are away. When returning there is only one plane to unload so no time is waisted there are the usual security checks then you are out of the airport into your car and away. We have used this airport 7 times and our record is 45 minutes from landing to being on the road out of the ... Read review
