I booked Air Transit with caution as I had read negative reviews. However I was pleasantly surprised when I flew with them on Wed 7th May 08 and wanted to share my experience. I checked in at Gatwick with ease and without queuing. Hannah at check-in was friendly and I requested to be seated in front of the plane as I suffer from motion sickness. We choose to fly Air Canada (Aug 2007) from Toronto to LA as it was the national airline. Even though ticket prices were considerably higher than anticipated we choose Air Canada secure in the knowledge that the flight was an international flight and the service, seating etc was as high a standard as any national airline. We were horrified to discover that their ageing aircraft A319 was configured for sardines and way below international standards. ...

Aisle seat passengers could easily loose a toe if not vigilant. Heaven forbid if there was a sudden emergency. The heavily laden trolleys required two attendants to push them along. Disadvantages: cramped, bad service, bad food

Canada 3000's only advantage is it's price, when flying within Canada I suggest West Jet, you typically have more leg room, the customer service is incredible from the in flight jokes to the helpful and friendly stewartesses to the pilot coming out to thank you for flying West Jet is a much more relaxing way to fly. Did not live up to all the good reviews. I travelled from Edinburgh to Hamilton May 2008. We arrived at the airport and was quickly boarded on the plane. We had booked premier seats together, when we sat down we realised that the plane and crew were all from Iceland, the crew could only understand half of what the Scottish passengers were saying. ...The seat in front of us went straight back due to being broken. When we landed at Hamilton airport in Canada we were greeted by what looked like a industrial estate. On the return flight the flight was delayed but due to the small airport the passengers had to seat outside and there was limited shops and cafes, none of this information is included in the airport information on the sight. ...
