Air France is the worst airline I have every dealt with. There are three of us who came from the US to Europe on the 28th of December. It is now the 4th of January and Airfrance claims to have no information on our baggage. They continuously tell us it is in one place- but when I call there, they say it is not. Disadvantages: Poor entertainment, poor service

...and I have flown with Thai Airlines twice recently. Once from Tokyo to Bangkok and Bangkok to London, Heathrow, both times on Economy. We weren't that impressed with on either occasion. Yes, the legroom was good but that was the best thing about the flights. The famed charm of the attendants was not in evidence. You had to be alert to make sure that you got a glass of wine or a cup of tea during the meal. I didn't manage either on my first flight ...
...personally enjoyed but wasn't exactly mainstream entertainment. The 2nd film shown Apaloosa had such bad sound quality that I switched off. I think the quality of the entertainment is important on long haul flights. In conclusion, we won't be flying with Thai Airlines again if we can help it. ... Read review

Advantages: NOTHING!!!
Disadvantages: EVERYTHING!!!

TERRIBLE!!! We were flying from Frankfurt to Barcelona then to Menorca. Our luggage was lost and we immediately took the claim up with customer service and they assured us that the luggage would be in on the next flight and delivered within 5 hours. This was a short stay of only five days, so we were thrilled that our items would be there soon. Our luggage didn't show up until day 4!!! We played cat and mouse with these people our entire vacation. ...
...on time and had been sitting at the airport, but was never delivered to us, despite our CONSTANT phone calls. Because we had no toiletries, not bathing suits, and only one pair of clothing, they assured us that whatever money we spent on these items, they would fully refund us. ...reason we decided to use American was because for the 4 of us they were around £200 cheaper than BA. Going There- --Check in and Boarding-- We tried to check in online as we have done with other airlines but the website wouldnt let us and said we needed to check in at the airport instead. We could enter all our personal information onto the website though which would save some time at check in. We used the self service checkin which wouldnt ...
...customer service clerks said we could check in self service then they would check our bags at the desk. This all went without a hitch. Off to boarding. Once your boarding pass was checked so confirm you were going onto the right flight, they sent you to another queue where the lady sent you either to her left or right. Disadvantages: On-demand entertainment & food not great

I flew with Qantas from Beijing to Sydney, then to Auckland, then back from Christchurch to Sydney. All the flights were clean, on time, and staffed by polite staff. The food was...well, as good as airline food gets in my experience. The On-Demand entertainment system on the long-haul flight wasn't as good as the one in the British Airway 747 (or 767) that I used from London to Beijing (not quite as recent) and the entertainment on the shorter flights ...
