Ryania is a Scam
Review of Ryanair - RYR by cmwig

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Ryaniar charges so many fees that you don't save any money.

Ryanair is a scam. They start out by selling 99p tickets but then charge for baggage, checkin, and various other fees. Once you buy a ticket then they add even more fees once you check in for excess baggage or any other incidental that they can scam you out of. Ryanair does not issue assigned seating so you are stuck with what you get. They also charge 3 pounds for a cup of coffee once you are on board the plane. You are coralled like cattle through ...
...The experience isn't worth the money you spend and the attendents can be quite rude. It is one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had (and thats saying a lot.) I recommend taking Aer Lingus instead. You will spend less or as much and you will get assigned seating at least. ... Read review

Never go longhaul with Monarch
Review of Monarch Airlines by missixty

Advantages: It gets you to your destination
Disadvantages: Cons customers, horrendous customer service, bad food, too many to list here

...had spoke to people at Monarch before we left the UK and they had informed us that we were allowed an extra 5kg luggage allowance. He rolled is eyes and said "there is what you have been told, and there is what is printed on your ticket". We had been staying at an AI hotel and hadn't eaten out through the holiday because the food at the hotel was fine but we had planned to treat ourselves on our last night to go and have a meal out and we had saved ...
...whether that is Cosmos or Monarch at fault. We eventually boarded and despite having paid for seats together were sat across an aisle. Now it is in the small print that 'seats together' can be classed as across and aisle or in front and behind of each other. This isn't exclusive to Monarch most airlines say this so I can't particularly complain in that sense but it still isn't what you would ideally want on such a long flight. Okay we could talk ... Three different beasties.
Review of British Airways Airmiles by asrdesigns

Advantages: Free Flights
Disadvantages: Restrictions may be when you want to fly

...Family Accounts are available. British Airways Executive Club needs you to fly upgraded at least once: unless you fly with BA several times a year there is little point in applying. 2: BAmiles can be used to buy flights and other travel services only from from British Airways. Each BAmile has a value of about 0.6 pence. Your BAmiles do not expire as such, but the account is closed if there is zero activity for three years. "Household" amalgamation ...
...points count towards Silver and Gold membership and are only earnt by flying Club or First class on a non-discounted ticket. Tier points are zeroed on the anniversary date of class membership: so you have a year to get the 600 tier points needed for Silver. That equates to 7½ return trips to Europe in Club class. I have just returned from a holiday in Budapest: two weeks ago now. The lady wife and I flew Club Class return on BAmiles Executive Club ... Read review

Very easyJet
Review of EasyJet - EZU by troggers4

Advantages: Very Cheap
Disadvantages: Overpriced onboard food and drink

...how my first experience of easyJet spanned out.... ************Booking************ The actual booking of the flight was remarkably straight forward and I was able to do this all online for free. My most local airport was London Gatwick, so I simply chose that on the list of airports on the easyJet website, selected Faro and selected my departure and arrival date. This brought me to a number of selections of times and prices, flights being cheaper ...
...was displayed in its familiar easyJet orange coloured logo. The plane was quite small and inside had 2 sets of 3 rows going down either side of the plane. I had the option of sitting anyway onboard, however it didnt seem that some seats had more reasonable leg room than others. The leg room was adequate for such a short flight and seemed the same that I had come across in economy classes in such airlines as British Airways and Emirates. The crew ... Read review
