...first. Booking through the Air France website was pretty straightforward, you decide which dates you want to fly & they provide a list of times for around three days at a time. You simply choose which time or price that suits you & click on it, the price they quote is the final price. This frequent flyer programme was one that I liked it does reward you on the mileage taken but has the serious flaw of taking an enormous number of flights before you earn enough to go anywhere or to even move up their status levels. If you find that you are stuck to them for flights since they either own the only route or they are the cheapest operator, you may find that one of their best flight awards is for a flight to parris for 10,000 miles ... ...My son was given an Iberia plane jelly lolly, some colouring pencils and a colouring competition. This was nice but all in Spanish and noone explained what to do! Iberia are one of the only scheduled airlines that dont include food / drinks on board their flights. A sandwich plus drink was €10. Had I known this in advance I would have taken my own. Disadvantages: Dangerous attitude to aircraft safety

I flew with TAP airlines yesterday (03/10/08) on Flight TP348 from Madeira to Gatwick. I have two issues really, the first being the most important:- During the course of the flight it became readily apparent that a young portugese male had decided to ignore all flight crew instructions and smoked in one of the onboard toilets. Despite a female member of cabin crew obviously discussing it with him as he returned to his seat, aboslutely NO ACTION ...
...when coming in to land, as I watched a very elderly lady walk to the bathroom despite the seat belt signs being on, and no-one either assisted her or asked her to return to her seat. I do not feel that TAP is a safe airline for these reasons. ... Read review

I'm surprise that I'm not the only one. In the past, I had relatively high regard for SIA, however that's mainly due to my wife more then personal experience. Personal experience has been that their staff tends to ignore any request that I made, I over looked those on bequest of my wife but this time they've really crossed the line. ...all they could tell me was "operational reasons". What this translates to is: petrol cost too much, too bad. We just had to cop it. The dumbest thing was that when they rebooked our flight, they've place us on a flight that we could never catch as we'll be on a flight from Tai pei to Singapore.
