*Overall, Monarch are terrible. I used them on a recent holiday as part of the package, and would never fly with them again.* Seat pitch - I'm 5ft 0 so don't normally care, but I was quite cramped, so it must be small! I even got given an emergency exit seat on the way out, which had more space, but of course had people pushing by on the way to the toilet etc. all night. Very annoying. ...but it was edible. Monarch charge for drinks other than tea or coffee, and snacks except the meals. Prices are ridiculous of course. (They do generously give you free water, in tiny cups, though). And don't expect service, as I said - you'll have to go to the back to the stewards' area. Entertainment - effectively none. Advantages: bmi Workers are polite. That's the only positive thing I can say about bmi.

...made me feel angry at British Midland Airways. There was a bmi poster hanging on the wall, "Service. Flexibility. Punctuality. That's bmi Time!" Malaysian air offer a top notch service in all areas from the time of booking right through to leaving the airport. Their flights run on time, or if there are any small delays passengers are informed as much as possible. The check-in staff a friendly and efficient as are the cabin crew. The crew are well groomed and their uniform has a lovely oriental theme. The aircraft are clean, smell fresh and many are fairly new and have personal screens on ...
...and very willing to help. Malaysian air certainly make long haul flights more bearable and I look forward to flying with them in the future. They offer very competitive prices to some great destinations. Malaysian Air also offer very good domestic flights within Asia. I have flown once with Thai airways from Sydney to London, in 2 legs with a stopover in Bangkok. There was a great difference in service between these two legs which overall has left me a little unsure what to make of Thai Airways ... The first leg was fantastic in all aspects.
