Flight canceled due to technical trouble and had to return to gate. Only B-class passengers were helped quickly while 200 others had to return to check in counter. Only two agents on duty. My wife calculated it would take about nine hours to process all 200. Passengers were told that the Airbus A330-300 had to get parts flown in from Copenhagen and thus could not leave until next day. ...morning I tried to log on to SAS website and was unable to find my wife's reservation. It took me over ten (10) minutes to find the phone number. I called and was on hold for 40 minutes. The person who finally answered spoke with an extremely heavy accent and was very difficult to understand. I asked her where she was based--Estonia of all places. I'd never heard of Novair until we recently took a flight from Stockholm Arlanda to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic. I'm not sure how useful this review will be for you as you are unlikely to fly with them unless you are based in one of the Scandinavian countries such as Sweden, Norway or Denmark. ...was with a company called Nordic Airlink, someone I'd never heard of (again). We took a quick look at their website before going, just to see what they were all about (www.flynordic.com, if you are interested). As you might expect, they are a scandinavian company, serving routes between Sweden, Norway and Denmark. I'd say they are definately a budget airline, judging from the prices - around £20 for a flight between Stockholm and Oslo for instance. ...
...bags on the flight, and after a couple of weeks, they replied saying - none offered, but as of June they would - typical as we went last week of May. Anyway, not to worry, but worth mentioning that their Customer Service is slow for general enquiries. ...My son was given an Iberia plane jelly lolly, some colouring pencils and a colouring competition. This was nice but all in Spanish and noone explained what to do! Iberia are one of the only scheduled airlines that dont include food / drinks on board their flights. A sandwich plus drink was €10. Had I known this in advance I would have taken my own. I flew with TAP airlines yesterday (03/10/08) on Flight TP348 from Madeira to Gatwick. I have two issues really, the first being the most important:- During the course of the flight it became readily apparent that a young portugese male had decided to ignore all flight crew instructions and smoked in one of the onboard toilets. Despite a female member of cabin crew obviously discussing it with him as he returned to his seat, aboslutely NO ACTION ...
