I have only used Stanstedairport once, having previously used other airports including Heathrow airport and Bristol airport.
STANSTEDAIRPORT QUICK LOCATION
Stanstedairport is one of the four main airports which is associated with London (the other three being Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton). Out of the four, Stansted is the one that is furthest away from London. It is approximately 38 miles away from London, to the North of the city, just off the M11 motorway at junction 8a if coming from London or Junction 8 from the Cambridge side.

The main advantage of Stanstedairport is that is has the advantage that out of the four airports, it has the lowest airport taxes which we all have to pay when travelling, and which all the airlines charge on top of the tickets that we pay to ...

I actually work at Stanstedairport and so feel I am in a position to give an up to date apprasial of the current situation.
First of all Travelling to the Airport.
There are currently roadworks on the M11 just south of the StanstedAirport turn off(Junction 8)so allow yourself an extra half hour to an hour travellling time if travelling from the M11 London or from the M25.
Parking at the Airport is slightly cheaper than at Gatwick or Heathrow.There is a long stay car park which is situated about 3/4 mile from junction 8(some 3 miles from the terminal.If you park there a free bus service brings you to the airport every 10 minutes.The short stay car park is situated at the front of the terminal with easy access to the building.

Last year I travelled to Italy with some of my family and we flew from Stansted. Our flight was really early in the morning so we decided to stay in the Radisson SAS hotel the night before. There were nine of us in total in three rooms including two children.
-Arrival-
Being the only one of us living in London I was the first to arrive. Getting to the hotel was really easy for me, I just took the Stansted express and then followed the signposts to the hotel. It is really well signposted and I actually found the walk there to be quite pleasant. There were rabbits all over the grass and I got very excited. They were just so cute!
Checking into the hotel was easy enough and pretty standard. I gave them my credit card to scan and they gave me the keys. However, they did give me the wrong room key so I ended up in the room of my ...
