Having read a negative review on this airline I thought it is worth letting people know that not all experiences with this airline are complete failures.
I have flown with MyTravel for the past three years, going to Crete, Zante and most recently Mexico in March 2003.
The flights have mostly been early or on time although we did have a 1 hour delay on the way back from Mexico.
The planes are what you would expect from a charter airline, legroom is restrictive if you are tall, but you can request to be seated on the emergency exits where you can completely stretch your legs. I have experienced this once coming home from Crete (without having to ask!) and also I paid £50 per person extra for the exit seats for my Mexico holiday.
I feel that the £50 for the exit seats on long haul flights is very good value, and it is definitely NOT worth paying any more to be upgraded to Premair Gold as the leg room is no better and the comfy chairs and free drinks and a few extra TV channels are NOT worth it!! You pay as much as £300 per person for premair gold!!
The planes are very destinctively decorated in blue and green, which is the same colour as the cabin crew uniforms.
The cabin crew are always very friendly and polite and are very happy to help you.
If you choose to pay extra for the in-flight meals, your £10 could be spent more wisely a packed meal to take on board with you - and you'd probably get some change!!
Although if they are included as part of the cost of the holiday the meals are generally ok but not fantastic if you are a fussy eater, but if you pre-book seats on the aircraft you can choose your meals at the same time from a list given on the system.
If you book Airtours holiday plus you get 4 free drinks vouchers for use on board which come in very handy, if you haven't got holiday plus or you have more than 4 drinks you have to pay. Drinks and snacks on the aircraft are quite expensive so it is well worth smuggling your own on-board!!
Overall they are a good airline and are well worth flying with, as with all airlines you can have bad experiences but the good experiences make it really worthwhile.

Advantages: Staff try their best in a bad situation, its just a shame about the company they work for, and the flights are cheap (you get what you pay for) Disadvantages: Too many to list!
