***-PRE TUNISIA HOLIDAY-*** Big thumbs up for Airtours. They certainly know what you want from a holiday! I have been away with them 3 times now and it will be a 4th on Sunday when I go to Tunisia. I always have a great time. the resorts have always been clean, polite, friendly and fun. Just like the reps. I have never had a problem with reps o an Airtours holiday. I have been away with other companies like Thompson, Club and inspirations and they are always real keen to sell you trips that you dont want. there is no hustle and bustle with these guys. They know you want some peace and quiet and are prepared to let you get on with it. Of course they are on hand if you need them so its a happy medium. In turkey, we had a lot of help from the rep after one of our party was hospitalised. The reps could not do enough for us. Some companies would let you fend for yourself. Not Airtours! The resorts I have stayed in have always been towards the better end of the market available through Airtours. Dropping people off at other hotels en route though letrs you see where thewy are staying and I have not yet seen one grotty hotel. So if you are going for the cheaper end, you could do far worse than try Airtours. the flights are always on time too. I have not yet been more than 1 hour late taking off or landing which is handy when you have deadlines to meet and people picking you up. The inflight entertainment is top nmotch too. Always a comfort after 2 weeks in the sun!
***-POST TUNISIA HOLIDAY-*** I take it all back. I have just got back from a week in Tunisia with Airtours and they have definitely let me down. It seems to me that they have battled to get to the top of the holiday market in the UK and now they are there, they have got complacent and become poor service providers. For a start, our plane was delayed. 40 mins which is not a lot. When we got there, they seemed very disorganised. The hotel we stayed at , The Sahara Beach Hotel in Skanes was not good. The food made my whole party sick. We all had food poisoning of varying strengths throughout the week and the delay on the way home was 5 hours! I should count my self lucky because the flight after us (going to Manchester) was due to take off at 11:30am Sunday and was cancelled and not rescheduled until 3:00am Monday morning. Very Very Poor service.

Advantages: Staff try their best in a bad situation, its just a shame about the company they work for, and the flights are cheap (you get what you pay for) Disadvantages: Too many to list!
