Airtours...My Personal Opinion... -------------------------------------
As most of you know I am just back from holidays in the Costa Dorada, and the company I went with was Airtours. The reason I picked them was because the holday was cheaper with them, I never change my habit of saving a few pounds.
So holiday booked and the next step is the airport and the Airtours plane, a A320 airbus and it was one hell of a plane. And there standing on the deck of the plane was the sweetest little redhead that I had ever seen. The red hair was set off by this fantastic light blue top and dark blue skirt, full marks to Airtours for choice of uniforms. And of course during the flight she goes and asks me the question that no woman should ever ask me, "Is there anything I can help you with Sir"...I of course said "No thank you".
I found the plane a bit cramped and also found the breakfast to be ok. It consisted of a sausage,an egg and a few potatoes. The flight was smooth and the pilot was helpful and the stewardess, well they were great...
Anyway we have arrived at Reus airport and are met by the Airtours team and are directed to our bus. I remember coming here with Falcon and have to say that Falcon beat Airtours easily for the airport to appartments..The girl from Airtours that we had on the bus must have been a mute or very shy because she never spoke one word on the journey...
We arrive at the appartments and she points us to reception, I look round to ask her something and she's gone, and I think I only seen her once after that the whole week. Whereas the First Choice rep was at the appartments every night.
Airtours also gave a leaflet with trips they had laid on but they were very expensive.
So to conclude Airtours are competitive in their holiday packages, the airplane is a bit cramped and their reps could be a little more helpful and to be honest because of that I would most likely not travel with them again..I do have to say their flight crew are great, ok the redhead swung that one!
Anyway I have missed all you Ciao crowd and am glad to be back, thanks for the read from your friend online......

Hi, I would just like to say that last summer i worked for Airtours in Tenerife as a rep! Not all reps are bad and we are given exstensive training both in the uk and in resort. I am sorry that you had a bad experience. LizzieX

I agree 100% on the Reps. I went to Majorca last year and whenever we wanted to see our rep we had to play a wonderful game of hide and seek, of course you'd have forgiven her...she was a redhead!!! Thanks - Scatz ;o)

Review of Airtours
Advantages: Staff try their best in a bad situation, its just a shame about the company they work for, and the flights are cheap (you get what you pay for) Disadvantages: Too many to list!
