I have used this holiday company a few times because one my friend’s Mum worked there and we got some great deals on holidays. I know lots of people think that Airtours service isn’t the best in terms of service (based on some my friends views), but I have always found it efficient.
OK, it’s no business class and there maybe no fancy food but it’s quick and direct and cheap. Perfect for a low priced holiday, who cares about the frills.
So, what’s so good about them? This summer my friend managed to leave her handbag on the plane and it contained all her tickets and stuff. It had been missed by the cleaners but someone handed it in. They got it to her so quick that little fuss was created when it could have easily have been a situation for great concern.
On your holiday you can ask for help from the Airtours holiday rep. I have seen them giving general help an it’s really helpful especially if you do not know you’re way around. Also, they give little meetings when you arrive just to give you a feel for the place or in case you encounter any problems.
I think that’s really good because it means that they take full 100% care off you if you fly with them. I know they can have some really ‘unhelpful’ reps or staff but don’t be deterred by them because they don’t represent the great majority.
With the recent tragedies in the States I would advise and urge everyone to go an book a holiday they are so cheap and are waiting to be snapped up. Don’t worry about security it’s the tightest and safest it’s ever been.
Airtours are a very good holiday company something like three million people book and fly with them. Good choice of destinations and overall great service.

Initially rated this only an 'H' but changed my mind because it is very concise and informative unlike many ops which are lengthier but less relevant - good op. Bruce (bwsr2)

My wifes friend has just returned from Florida last week four days late, this was due to the awful disaster in New York.
Airtours put her and her family up in the Radisson Hotel Los Angeles, she said it was better than their booked hotel and they got three meals a day due to the inconvenience of not being able to fly home.
Most companies don't give you food, just accomodation.
Normally i would put Airtours down after a few bad experiences myself, but on hearing this , I changed my mind.

Advantages: Staff try their best in a bad situation, its just a shame about the company they work for, and the flights are cheap (you get what you pay for) Disadvantages: Too many to list!
