...and the bedding and towels were changed every day, bar Sunday. Once you'd mastered the art of the small shower area, and become accustomed to the air conditioning (€60 for the two weeks) the rest was a breeze.
The staff at the hotel were exceptionally hospitable and friendly; in particular Christos and Athena who both made everyone's holiday with their kindness and good humour.
The most resounding endorsement of Akti Dimmys is the many people who return year after year, often with their friends and neighbours, because they enjoy it so much! Akti Dimmys is very much in demand, so the message is, "book quick to avoid disappointment!"...

Advantages: Beautiful surroundings, and very clean Disadvantages: Not much of a beach.
...The hotel is situated in amazing surroundings that take your breath away; mountain rages surround the hotel and its area, Elounda. However the employees, I found to be quite rude and unpleasant, at time especially to children. Nevertheless, the food was faultless with plenty of options for people to choose from. The hotel was very clean and with beds changed everyday. Also, there were pleanty of facilities frelly available to use. The swimming pool, was really nice, the water would cool you off after soaking up the sun. Children were also entertained because there was a kids pool and also a kids clud, and children could participate if they wanted to. Advantages: Too many to mention Disadvantages: A bit pricy!

We chose a room with a private infinity pool, which was lovely with a stunning view of the tiny island of Spinalonga. The rooms were impeccable, and clean. Breakfast was included in the price which we ate on our patio every morning (4 euro charge) as opposed to the buffet style restaurant. For ony 4 euros it is well worth it. Although the hotel was fully booked when we went, it never seems crowded, you can always find a lounger by the pool, comy sofa to sit on by the bar etc. The complex has a number of restaurants including an a la carte restaurant. We ate several times at the restaurants but preferred to either take a tax into Elounda (10 euro taxi) or the 2 minute stroll down the road to Plaka, a sleepy fishing...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.

I lived in New York City for a few years, but had little experience of its hotels until after I'd moved away. My husband and I stayed in the Library Hotel in late August of 2004 for two nights. After spending a few nights in one of its sister hotels the... more
