Advantages: location
Disadvantages: poor breakfast, very expensive meals, non-smoking rooms smelling very bad, onfriendly and incapable staff

...I never had this feeling before to share my experiences with others on hotels, but now I certainly want to inform you about this hotel. I stayed in this hotel for four days in a superior non-smoking room. Compared to the Novotel Peace hotel, this hotel is al real disaster. Hotel personel was not friendly and totally not capable to work with guests. English is zero, even simple things like numbers wan't do. If the staff doesn't know, they just keep you on the line, every two minutes you get - 'wait a minute' -, meanwhile they are helping other guests, while you keep waiting. I will never ever come back to this hotel, even for free! I rather sleep in the subway.... Read review

...well, and overall the room was very clean. The continental breakfast was one of the most impressive things about the hotel, where most hotels will offer one plate of cheese and a few bread rolls, Al Piave produced a selection of italian meats (my favourite) and cheese, plus croissants, toast, cakes, fruit, and cereal. With fresh Italian coffee and orange juice. In conclusion the Hotel Al Piave is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. Friendly staff, fantastic location, Perfect for a short Venice break....
