The manager, Mr Paolo, told us, that the Cafe has 2 double rooms and a minisuite. We asked him the see the rooms. No problems, in this way we could shoot some photos. I think it's a good idea to sleep in a riad for enjoy the real Morocco, that's not possible in a 5 stars hotel :-( ....next time
The Sunday Moroccan-international brunch tasts optimal. It's a great buffet, for 200 DHS. It's not expansive, but unfortunatly it comes suspended in July and August because it is too warm and the buffet it comes made in the patio...

mecca is a holy city for muslims and non-muslims are not allowed up to a certain point.
when you first enter mecca you really dont know what to expect. the first sight i saw was the shops. there was a whole street full of places to eat. they all looked pretty clean and sanitary. then you see one of the most beautiful buildings you have ever seen. the mosque has great big minarets and all made out of marble. it is absolutley gorgeous.
when going inside the mosque it is absolutlely breathtaking. going there for a pilgramage you go there with a sense of peace and humility which is a great feeling after all the stress i had with my Alevels.
i was there for a pilgrimage for 7 days in mecca and 7 in al madina.
i stayed in a hotel called THE OASIS my first impressions...

There are two distinct sides to this magical, mysterious and yet very cosmopolitan city; there is the old Moorish medina and the elaborate mosques and the New Town with it's French influences and architectural Art Nouveau styles.
I visted Tunis for just one day as part of a weeks holiday in Hammamet down on the coast. We had intended to take the train but, having arrived at the train station at Bir Bou Regba just outside Hammamet around 10.00am, we found out that Tunisan trains operate with the commuter in mind and there would be no more trains until the afternoon. We needed to find an alternative way of reaching the capital.
