Adventure you will not forget
Review of Aden (Yemen) by SaabDriver

Advantages: Timeless,Weather, Price, Culture, People
Disadvantages: Weather can be too hot

...Aden is the economic capital of Yemen. A former British colony, this city located on the arabian peninsula on the mouth of the red and arabian sea is a gem to visit. The weather is consistanlt warm throughout the year. Best time to visit is between September and January where is it moderate at about 20+ degrees. Forget going in the summer months. The city has vast gold sandy beaches with clear blue waters, All beach hotels provide access to numerous water sports activities. Aden is the most liberal part of Yemen and city itself has amazing architecture and history such as the ancient water cisterns. People are very friendly and local shopping and food is as cheap as you can get for such a holiday. The great thing about Aden and Yemen as a whole is that when you visit it is like going back time, with the amazing scenary... Read review

Sana'a - a MUST visit place.....
Review of Sana (Yemen) by TheJudge1979

Advantages: Historical place, Simple people, cheap life and beautiful seens
Disadvantages: It can be a little awkward dealing with some people

...Sana'a is the capital and the largest city of Yemen. Sana'a is one of the ancient cities in the Middle East dating back to the Sabean dynsty. Its history goes back to the 6th century when the Ethiopian used to control it (The capital of the Himyarite kingdom). In the 17th century and again from 1872 to 1918 it was under the control of the Islamic state (The Othmani state based in Turkey). After the 1918, when Yemen earned its independence, Sana'a became its capital. Yemen has always been ruled by tribes and they used to have an Imam who I believe took over after the collapse of the Islamic state in Istanbul. Although the capital of Yemen was moved toTaiz in 1948, it returned back when the Yemen Arab Republic was established in 1962. And again, when both the southern and northern of Yemen were unified in 1990, it continued... Read review

My story in Aden
Review of Aden (Yemen) by alrmingking

Advantages: the city, places, food and the shops
Disadvantages: the weather and the transport

...My story in Aden city as many cites in Yemen there are many things to visit in Aden but I didn't like the weather and the transport. The places I had visit is the beaches as you can say all the city in side the sea so you will see the sea from every where in the city include the mountains The shopping centres around the city but the main one in the town of the city called Crater is the bigger one and you can find anything you want. There is a little Big Ben in Aden as I know it is the second Big Ben after the original Big Ben in London and this Big Ben built before the queen Elizabeth visit Aden when Aden city was under British colony so anyone coming from the sea can see the Beg Bin even you coming by the plane. The people are helpful and friendly with everyone. There are many old places built before 1000's years around the city you can... Read review
