Advantages: Near the Beach, Family run. Disadvantages: Quite small, limited breakfast
I recently went to Chipiona in August 2006. We stayed at the Hotel Brasilia which is located about 3-5 minute walk away from the long, sandy stretch of beach. We arrived at the hotel in a taxi and as soon as we got to the reception straight away we knew it would be completely different to any other spanish holiday we have been on. The receptionist started speaking spanish to us and thankfully my sister, who is studying spanish managed to work out what she was saying. We were directed to our room and had time to have a look round. The room is spacious, had a tele, a lovely marble bathroom, a big wardrobe and a desk. Another major thing we were happy about was the fact that the room had air-conditioning, which we kept on for the whole of the day. However we found out that room didn't actually have a safe for me to put my wallet ...
This review is about my time at the magnificent and luxury hotel the Burj Al Arab. I was lucky enough to spend two nights at this hotel during New Years Eve and New Years day 2008/2009. I had a friend who?s dad did a tone of import export business and thus I even managed to stay their for free, yes that?s right for free, under the condition that I paid for all my own food, and drink, which I was more than happy to at the time.
Now everyone has either heard about this hotel, been their or at least seen the pictures of what it looks like, and let me tell you its even more breathtaking in real life. This review will hopefully give you an insight into the hotel, information regarding all the rooms in particular the one I stayed in, what the facilities are like, what the food and bar is like as well as the service provided by the hotel ...
Advantages: Quality, Family Friendly Hotel Disadvantages: Non really, just needs to sort out the sunbed situation
I have just got back from Tenerife and staying at the Hotel Noelia Sur. My family go to Tenerife every year and this is the second time we have stayed at the Noelia. It has always been known as a quality hotel, but like many hotels it has its blips.
Our flight was with Monarch airlines and to be honest it did leave certain things to be desired. I was told to expect to pay £10.00 for the inflight meals, which basicaly are crap, but Monarch tried to hit us with a £15.00 bill for them.As there were 7 in my party, this would have been an extra £105.00. I honestly do not think there is a need for such a price, as this would bring in more than £5000 revenue for the company, just for the inflight meals. They already charge a price of £3.00 for a 330 ml can of beer that costs 60p in an off license. On top of this there is a hire charge of £1 ...
